7277 Santa Monica Blvd, the address of the magic factory which is Church.
I have been meaning to take a trip to this LA boutique for quite some time. now i only wish i did it sooner. to call it a boutique is to belittle what in essence it really is. it is a museum which houses clothes, accessories, jewelry, and art of divine proportions. this is not a shop for the faint of heart. only die hards and tastemakers need apply. only the most exclusive designers/artists are hand picked.
this is where stylists from around the world hand select one of a kind nuggets and trinkets. if you like Maxfield’s, you’ll love Church. Petro Zilla, Valerj Probega to name a few of the women’s designers featured in this store. i was also pleasantly surprised and pleased to see one of Vancouver’s own and very special, Mandula in the store which suited it so beautifully. From albino taxidermy peacocks to a shrine on an antique piano. the style factor is not lacking. the only intimidating thing is the price tag.
This is not hipster heaven people. this is a religion unto itself. men and women alike, i’m quite certain that once you go to church you will become devout.
