Channeling my inner pete doherty and well, for lack of a better idea…i wear black. ok, so i’ve never been crazy about nye but regardless, maybe i would do something like this. simple is great, if simple is done right. again you got to mix the glamour with grunge, the feminine with the masculine. ok, a touch emo but really dont you get the winter blues too….

you might not know this, but occasionally i make my own clothes. this old thing… is a little something i put together a few weeks back to go to a fashion show. ok, and let me gush…the biggest compliment came when women were asking me where they can buy it!! i have never considered myself a designer, but among a group of fashionable people to be noticed for what i was wearing, was, well, really fuckin cool. ok, i’ll stop… but first i will feature my frock. hand dyed, burned, and shredded in its web of glory.

I’ve been more than lucky recently to have now had the opportunity to work with photographers who guest on my blog. Melissa Gidney has been a friend of mine for some time and i am so fortunate that she wanted to take pictures of me. She is so talented and lovely, it was a real treat. this is the 1st of two shoots we did and hopefully more to come.

This post combines two of a few of my favorite things, Pamela Love and The Selby. For those of you that don’t know either, let me flow.
